About

Cookingmoney is about managing your money in an efficient manner, making your money work harder as much as it can. It’s about playing with money and in the process getting over with making mistakes. It’s about enjoying the passion of moneymaking and seeing you growing rich.

The ideas, the mistakes with money, the tips and tricks and the processes you’ll find here are the result of my personal experience with money that I gained over a period of six years. If you are broke, you want to invest and don’t know where to start from, you shy away from financial discussions, you are a common man and you want to create wealth then this blog is the place for you.

Who is The Chef?

I am the author of this blog. From my childhood I have always found myself watching things that I want but not seen them having/owning them. Later in my life I had serious downturns at the start of my career which threw me back nearly six years in time when compared to my peers. To beat my peers and to fill the gap of six years I decided to do whatever it takes to make money (excluding illegal and unethical activities) one important thing I did is to take high risks with my money to make more money.

Why I write this blog?

I write this blog because I am passionate about money making. I chose to be anonymous for the time being because I want to discuss the fragile issue of personal finance using my finances and do not want to reveal my identity to my close friends and family. There is no other reason whatsoever for anonymity.

What I do?

Besides writing this blog I work for a consultancy firm which provides financial advisory services for infrastructure projects. I am an MBA in finance and I live in Bangalore, the silicon valley of India.

And my other interests are…

I am also interested in photography, sketching and reading (I am also planning to launch my photo blog soon). You are welcome to drop me a line anytime. If you are interested in what I write or where I invest you can browse through the archives section of this blog.
