Disclosure

cookingmoney.com is not primarily financially driven. I put it up in 2006 as a personal finance tracking tool for myself. Later in the year 2008 I had some personal issues which kept me busy and away from the blog world (You have a right to think that I was lazy).

In 2012 I have come back inspired by Tim Ferris The four Hour Work Week to build a community and developing relationships.

First, the obvious: I am a consultant working with a major Infrastructure Company in India.

Second, the more obvious: I am an Indian citizen and I believe I fall outside the purview of FTC, and the guidelines/rules/act does not apply to me. However being said that I comply to the Income Tax Act (India). You can visit my About page to know more about who I am.

Third, the most obvious: The products and services discussed in this blog act as a recommendation just because I truly believe these products or services and they really provide meaningful value. I recommend that you invest some time doing your own independent research before purchasing anything from this or any other website.

Being said that you don’t have to reinvent the wheel and you can head over to my Resources page to get some useful resources. Please note that some of the links on the resources page are affiliate links and I will earn a commission if you purchase through those links (Obviously at no extra cost to you). These are all things that I have experience with that I am recommending because they are helpful and are companies that I trust, not because of the commissions that I may earn from you using these products.
