Goals 2012
Welcome to the next post on cooking money blog, your Recipe for Financial Freedom. Since this is the first month of the Year 2012 I figured I should pen down the Goals for this blog. This year’s goals are way different than the goals of 2008 and the financial resolutions of 2008 that I had posted on this blog. After putting this blog on a newer track the second round to my online presence has commenced. In the last fifteen days I have been planning the blueprint to generate smart and passive income.
Without further ado here is the list of my goals for Cooking Money
Goal: Making $ 1001 US online
This year I am planning to gross $1001 US online. When I made this website live again last year I started to look into the online money making business. Since then I have learned a lot about online money making. I have been studying the business model behind smart passive income ideas. The conclusion that I draw from my learning is that the business of online money making requires investments. Believe me I have seen how deep the rabbit hole goes.
Goal: Getting 1001 subscribers for this blog
The maximum number of subscribers that I had on this blog was 11 and that was around four years back when I started this blog. So as per my past records this goal seems to be little out of my reach but nevertheless I will put in a real hard effort to achieve this goal.
Goal: Writing 3 e-books
The one important thing that I’ve learned over the past six months studying other successful blogs is that you need to market your blog. Moreover, there are proven tools for marketing. Distributing free e-books is one of them. Two of the e-books that I plan shall be freebies and marketing tools and the last one shall be comprehensive detailed book that I shall be writing for my niche website.
Goal: Making 40 videos
Like e-books, online videos are also great tools for marketing. They also act as a tool for making money online. I have got the necessary gear to create videos. I have already started one You Tube channel for my niche website. However, I have uploaded only one video so far. This year a total of 40 videos planned which includes 20 videos for Cooking Money.
Goal: Professional looking Cooking Money
Right now I am using the Atahualpa theme framework for this website. This is a pretty good theme with highly customizable features. However, by the end of this year I am planning to purchase a better and more flexible theme framework and improve the design of this website.I might also hire a professional to do it for me.
Goal: Establish a niche website and rank it up in search engines
I have a lot of passions starting from playing chess, music, painting & sketching and photography. I feel that I would develop a niche in any of these competitive areas. I have started working on my niche.
From the looks of it my list of goals is over. These goals are pretty structured and well defined. The goal list specifies the amount I need to earn online and the balance lists the path to achieve it.
I also believe that these goals are reasonable and achievable. from the goals that you would read here which I have written in the past this attempt is pretty conservative. However this time I am moving ahead with a plan and it will be revealed in the long year journey.
