The Investor Hunt is started. ING-Vysya is sponsoring the first of its kind game show, “The Investor Hunt”. This is a real time stock market game, similar to the games we used to play in B-schools, but this is at a much bigger level, competing against the whole of India.
I am game; I want to participate in it. I don’t know whether I will be able to get to the top 1000, but I want to try and if I make it through then it will be great learning for me. Even if don’t make it through to the top 1000, I will play my own game creating a notional portfolio and try to maximize the returns over a period of time.
This game has given me the idea to learn investing by directly jumping into the market, creating a great learning environment and a platform to get into the equity market with an experience of an investor.

* Log on To iiy.moneycontrol.com or SMS IIY to 2622, and register yourself on the site or through SMS
* Please enter your Mobile No. while registering on iiy.moneycontrol.com

STEP - I

* After you have logged on to the iiy.moneycontrol.com , Register yourself to play the real time stock market game.

NOTE
Please enter your correct Mobile Number and Personal Details while registering. The start date of the game will be posted on the site and will be sent to you as an SMS on the number provided by you at the time of Registration. The start and the end date of the online game are fixed; you can enter at anytime and start playing.

STEP - II

* You will get a User name ID and password which is unique to you and will also be allotted a notional amount of Rs 5 lakh, which you can use to buy or sell NSE stocks.
* If you want to buy/sell, place your order with the quantity and price.

STEP - III

* The given stocks will be transferred into your portfolio on the market price or the limit price you have set.
* 0.05% brokerage will be charged on every transaction executed.
* If you want to buy/sell, place your order with the quantity and price.

RULES OF THE GAME

* All registered Participants get Rs. 5 Lac of notional money
* Players can play for a maximum of 2 weeks ( i.e. 10 working days)
* They have to buy and sell at Market Rates
* They can only buy/sell listed scrips in the spot market. Trading in derivatives is NOT allowed
* Trading can happen between 10 am - 3:30 pm daily
* The Game will close permanently at 3:30 pm on the 10th working day
* Winners whose portfolios have the highest absolute value will move into the next round.
* Key in your correct details, as the names will be flashed on our network channels.
* 0.05% brokerage will be charged on every transaction executed.
* All available NSE Stocks are allowed(CMP > Rs 20)
